Corey & Sarah

OUR PROMISE TO YOU:

For us adoption would be the best thing that could happen for us and our family. It would allow us to finally be parents, something we have long hoped for, to love your child unconditionally, filling their lives with lots of laughter, fun adventures, understanding and acceptance. We promise to support and involve ourselves in the child’s culture if that is important to your child’s history, making sure that your child grows up knowing where they came from and who they are. We promise to support a relationship between the birth family and child, if that is something you wish for. We both believe in being open with our child regarding their birth family and adoption story.

ABOUT US:

We met 12 years ago when Corey was in Canada on a work visa from Ireland, we had an instant connection almost love at first site, the first 3 months of our relationship was spent travelling between Ireland and Vancouver until we both decided to live in Vancouver together and we have been together ever since.

Sarah works and manages a mental health group home facility, she works with people who have been diagnosed with mental illness and need support with learning how to live day to day with the challenges that can come from having a mental illness, she finds this work has been very rewarding. Sarah loves to cook and bake, putting on family functions, she’s the first one to plan someone’s birthday party, she loves sewing and crafting as well and loves to make everyone’s Halloween costumes.

Corey works as a steamfitter in a shipyard, building large ships for the army and other large port ships. He has completed half of his apprenticeship. Corey loves sports and going to sporting events, He is very involved in the Vancouver Irish community helping with and attending local events such as talent shows and BBQs, Corey is a creative person who loves to draw and build things with his hands.

We are both so very exited to experience and explore the things we love to do with a little one as well as supporting anything a child maybe interested in.

Sarah and her family are from Vancouver, so we have quite a few nieces and nephews who live nearby with Sarah’s sisters and cousins we hangout and see them at least every week. Coreys parents and brothers live in Ireland. We go to Ireland once a year at least to visit with his large Family and stay in the home Corey grew up in on his family farm, they have cow’s, sheep, donkeys, horses and chickens Its awesome! We also have a lot of close friends with kids in our lives and often go camping and do water parks in the summer months.
